About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team and support our new software system. Based in the Bristol area, this role involves national travel, particularly to London, Kent and Southampton to support customer sites and assist with implementation. This is a unique opportunity to join at the start of a major rollout. Full training will be provided, and you will work closely with the technical, commercial and project teams to configure and implement multiple sites over the next 18 months.

Essential Requirements

• Good general IT knowledge, including desktop and printer setup.
• Experience with software configuration and implementation.
• Familiarity with SSH and basic server tasks.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical contact for our new software.
• Configure the new software for new sites and users.
• Set up and support desktop PCs, printers, and networked devices on-site.
• Provide basic server support, including SSH access for restarts and rebuilds.
• Assist with SQL and Excel data imports.
• Deliver training to end users during onboarding.
• Configure reports and dashboards for customers within the new system.
• Travel across the UK as required, particularly to London, Kent and Southampton.

Desirable

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Basic networking knowledge (e.g., IP configuration, switches, routers).
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
